Guided Oxford Walking Tours

The Radcliffe Camera and All Souls College

Welcome to Oxford!

My name is Iain, I’m a graduate of Jesus College, and I’m an Oxford walking tours guide with a wealth of authentic and personal stories about Oxford and the University, past and present.

About The Tour

Here’s a recent review:

“Absolutely brilliant from start to finish with lots of Q and A to keep us all on our toes. Iain was very knowledgeable about the town and the university (he did attend Jesus College himself) and he kept the various ages and nationalities all engaged. Witty, entertaining and most enjoyable: so I would highly recommend it for learning a lot about Oxford in just 90 minutes.” Nick O.

The city centre of Oxford is dense with historic University and College buildings, its streets echoing with the footsteps of famous people who have taught and studied here.

Each location has a tale to tell, including of course my own Jesus College, and many of my stories are by definition personal, authentic accounts of life here as a student at the best and most famous University in the world.

Oxford Graduate Guide

Entertaining, informative and educational, this Oxford University walking tour is guaranteed to be led by a former undergraduate student.

This means you’ll benefit from a first hand, authentic account of life here.

On this guided exploration you will discover things you would not notice or learn by yourselves.

You’ll hear what it’s really like to be an Oxford undergraduate from someone who has experienced it; starting with the gruelling admissions process, through the unique collegiate and tutorial system, to final exams and the magnificent degree ceremony.

Green Badge Qualified

You can be assured of a quality experience, I’m an officially qualified Green Badge Guide for the City of Oxford, and a member of the prestigious Oxford Guild of Tour Guides.

Many guides in Oxford have no training or ongoing professional development, and aren’t even locals.
