Itinerary
We start at the Cherwell Boathouse and meander by the playing fields of the Dragon School, whose former pupils include Hugh Laurie (“House”) and Harry Potter star Emma Watson (“Hermione Granger”).
Rainbow Bridge
We glide gently through the University Parks past Lady Margaret Hall, founded in 1878 for women only, the first time they had been allowed to study at Oxford.
Continuing our relaxing exploration downstream, we eventually arrive at the (former) nudist bathing site for Oxford Dons, Parson’s Pleasure, where we turn round and wend our way lazily back.
Pricing for One Hour’s Punting
£150 per chauffeured punt per hour – up to 4 people per punt.
Punt hire, equipment, and personal chauffeur all included.
Time and Start Point
The best Oxford punting station by far is the Cherwell Boathouse on Bardwell Road, OX2 6ST, an excellent riverside restaurant and bar with plenty of outside space for drinking, dining,or a coffee as you watch and smile at the novice punters falling in!
Open from 1000am to 1000pm. (10:00 to 22:00).
Plenty of parking, and if the boathouse car park is busy there are spaces in the streets round about.

Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy – Oxford Chauffeured Punting Tour
We want your punting experience to be as relaxing and memorable as possible. To help things run smoothly – especially for our chauffeurs who often have back-to-back bookings – please take a moment to read our cancellation and timing policies:
Weather Cancellations

If we cancel due to severe weather (e.g. heavy rain, high winds, or unsafe river conditions), you’ll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Light or passing rain does not automatically mean cancellation.
Client Cancellations

7+ days in advance: Full refund (minus any payment transaction fees).

3–6 days in advance: 50% refund.

Less than 72 hours’ notice: No refund, as chauffeurs will already be booked and paid.

In cases of illness or emergency, we may consider a refund or reschedule at our discretion, but we will require appropriate proof (e.g. doctor’s note) for our insurance.
Arrival Time

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

A 10-minute grace period begins at your scheduled start time. After that, at the chauffeur’s discretion, they may need to shorten or cancel your trip with no refund if they have other clients booked afterwards.
No-shows

If you do not arrive for your booking without notifying us, no refund can be offered.
