A popular option is to arrange a private tour for your family, friends, school, society, club, organisation, or indeed any other group.
Group size
If visiting an Oxford College owing to restrictions by most of the colleges on the numbers of visitors in any one group the maximum is usually 19 people.
With no college visit or entry into any University buildings the maximum group size is 25.
For groups with a whispering system or wireless audio tour guide equipment larger group sizes are possible, please contact me.
NB: As a member of the Oxford Guild of Tour Guides I have access to a network of 70 qualified Oxford guides, so for large groups of more than 25 there are always enough guides.
Pricing
Normally the flat rate for one and a half hours is £150, but a lot depends on exactly what you want.
Other Languages
Tours in French, Spanish, German, and Italian are an additional £50 per group.
Tours in Mandarin Chinese are an additional £80 per group.
College Entry
College entry fees are extra and range between £1 and £8 per person.
Seeing inside a college is highly recommended for the full on, memorable, Oxford experience.
Duration
Tours last approximately one and a half hours, and include the most iconic buildings and locations in the heart of the City and University.
Easy Walking
The walking is very easy, they should really be called strolling tours. There are several opportunities to sit down along the route.
